Lebanon Waste Management Exhibition & Conference 2019

Lebanon Waste Management Exhibition & Conference 2019, was the first Solid waste Expo-Conference to be held in Lebanon and it addressed a wide variety of waste management issues in an effort to support the movement of the waste management sector to a more sustainable phase. The Event itself served as a platform for waste professionals in Lebanon to exchange ideas and information about the latest and advanced waste and recycling methods. It also presented an opportunity for the leading industry companies to showcase their waste and recycling products and services to the largest gathering of governmental, municipal and private sector waste and recycling professionals in Lebanon. The Exhibition, hosted more than 40 exhibitors from 11 different countries and 2250 visitors, while the conference hosted 27 speakers from 17 different countries, and the attendance of 270 delegates from 25 different countries. ISWA Lebanon supported the event through inviting ISWA’s President (Mr. Antonis Mavropoulos) to be a key note speaker at the inauguration session, supporting in setting the sessions and nomination of some of the international speakers, and by holding a session by Mr. Rami Nassif about the waste management overview in Lebanon.
